Shouldn't they be throwing GREAT literature at kids?Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15680035641451513064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-699357156709253245.post-41373441422951141452013-02-20T14:26:29.530-05:002013-02-20T14:26:29.530-05:00An audio book is a great idea! I'm not quite sure why I didn't want to start it - I really am strange sometimes. It took me years to get started into Jane Austen's collection even though I had the books my shelves staring me down. My suggestion: listen to Oz as an audiobook instead. That is what I did. My library rents those out as well, so maybe yours does too? And I agree, Wicked was a really terrible book.Jonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00081264884613144926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-699357156709253245.post-63145712868110470132013-02-14T08:52:29.644-05:002013-02-14T08:52:29.644-05:00Yeah, the secret is guilt and self-competition. I am always so impressed with your reading output on Goodreads.

I have the opposite problem...as soon as a book starts to bore me, I'm OUT. It's bad - really bad, and it means I have 5-10 half-read books in my nightstand at any given time.

Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05143719896950531288noreply@blogger.com
